TO OFFER THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF OUR COMMUNITY A SAFE
AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT
TO HANG OUT AND
PARTICIPATE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES
The Blenheim Youth Centre opens its doors to all youth between the ages of 10-18 years of age. The BYC is the only Youth Centre available to this population within Blenheim and surrounding areas. Currently we receive visits from approximately 30 youth per day. The BYC is a youth friendly centre which is equipped specifically for the youth who enter our doors. We have a TV lounge with a Nintendo Wii console, a homework area with computers and internet access, a kitchen for youth to help staff and volunteers make snacks, a canteen for buying snacks and drinks, and also a multipurpose area for activities such as crafts and games. Other recreational activities available include an air hockey table, pool table, and a foosball table.
